We at Common Faith Network are preparing for a joyful celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles at the Boardwalk Beach Hotel & Convention Center in Panama City Beach, Florida. Below you will find information regarding housing in and around the area.
“Boardwalk Hotel Condition Report”
CFN sent an advance team to the Board Beach Hotel and Convention Center, and we wanted to share their observations about the unexpected condition of the hotel rooms and what to expect if you have rented one. The hotel rooms in the two hotel buildings are different from the condominiums next door to the hotel buildings. Condominiums will vary in quality, as you can read in online reviews.
Our scouting team viewed two of the hotel rooms and report that the hotel rooms are older, very basic accommodations, worn, and not at all what you would expect from a Holiday Inn or a modern hotel. The biggest Boardwalk Hotel benefit is how close it is to the conference center, but don’t expect much in the way of creature comforts in the rooms themselves.
Based on their report, unless very close proximity to the convention site is very important, you may want to evaluate your hotel registration to see if it meets your expectations.
If you know of someone who has rented a hotel room at the Boardwalk, please share this information with them.
Many members will choose to stay at the site.
The Boardwalk Beach Hotel & Convention Center is hosting this year’s venue for services.
They also offer both hotel rooms and condos with beachfront access within walking distance of services.
Services will be in the ballrooms adjacent to the Hotel.

The discount varies by unit and dates booked, but generally should average around 20% off the standard rates.

You may use their website to preview the rooms, but you must book on the telephone and give them the booking code to receive the offered discounted rates.
Royal American manages two different properties, the The Boardwalk Beach Condos (adjacent to the site), and The Majestic (1.1 Miles west of the site.) There are discount rooms available at both locations.
AUGUST 5th Update:
We have been informed that all of the block of rooms through Royal American Beach Getaways have been taken (both at the Boardwalk Beach Condominiums, and at the Majestic Resort). You could still choose to reach out to them in hopes that there might be a cancellation.
However, as of this announcement, there were still some units available at the Boardwalk Beach Condominium tower through VRBO.com and other agencies for the Feast of Tabernacles dates.

CFN has been notified by the BookThatCondo.com that many of their properties are now being offered at lower rates.

We have contacted a LOCAL property management company in Panama City Beach that has a good inventory with a large variety of options in many different properties. www.BookThatCondo.com is based in the area and specializes in properties located along the gulf in both Panama City Beach and 30A. With local sales personnel that live in the area, they are able to accurately answer your questions concerning each property.
Unlike many online services that charge massive amounts of fees, Book That Condo charges a small reasonable fee for booking with their service. That alone can result in significant savings.
In addition to the savings on fees, Book That Condo is offering a discount for Feast Attendees between now and August 31, 2021 if you use Promo Code FAITH10. They are offering a 10% discount off of the nightly rental revenue ONLY. This excludes fees and taxes. The length of stay has to be a Minimum of 5 days. The Maximum number of days to receive the discount is 10 days. If you choose to stay longer, you may, but the 10% discount will not apply for the additional days.
You may book directly through their website by entering the promo code FAITH10 under the Payment Information section after selecting “Book Now”. The problem with this method is that you will not see the discount applied before completing the booking.
The best option is probably to choose a unit that you like on their website, and then call their office at 850-588-7414 and speak with a sales representative directly. Be sure to mention the Feast of Tabernacles, and promo code FAITH10 to the representative.
They can give you a total amount of the rental, and handle your reservation over the phone. They will also be happy to assist you in finding a match that will meet your needs.
OTHER HOUSING OPTIONS TO CONSIDER
There is an abundance of housing available for you in Panama City Beach via VRBO, Airbnb, Vacasa and similar websites.
Don’t be deterred by a Saturday to Saturday only rental. Reach out to the owner or property manager, many will make exceptions.
