Based in Hendricks County, Indiana, Common Ground Christian Ministries is a group of believers who are seeking to follow, to the best of our abilities, the teachings and practices of Jesus and the early New Testament church. Our emphasis is best summarized in one scripture:

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.

Loving both God and our neighbor is much easier said than done, because we believe that wholeheartedly loving God involves worship, obedience and passion. Loving our neighbors not only means nurturing relationships with those close to us, but also involves actively serving others and showing kindness even to our enemies. One of the most important ways to show love to others is to help the lost find their way to God.
