Jesus said that anyone who receives one of his children receives Him. This is a misunderstood statement! Most of us think Jesus wants us to build youth programs into our congregations or designate someone to work with them. He is not talking about programs or designated workers here. Look for the word “one” in his statement. He is talking to each one of us about each one of our congregation’s children. What are “each one” of us willing to do about that?
