Bill Jacobs

October 14, 2019

This sermon was given at the Emerald Coast Convention Center in Ft. Walton Beach, FL during the 2019 Feast of Tabernacles observance sponsored by Common Faith Network.

God tells us that he is the potter and we are his clay. But what does that mean—in our lives every day? Are there any advantages to being a gob of wet mud, turned at dizzying pace? Does it feel good like a massage? Or is it more like SEAL training? What do we have to do to play that role? Learn more about it in Pottery 101.

Bill Jacobs and his wife Elaine live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they operate LifeResource Ministries. This ministry produces educational materials about Christian living, youth advocacy, family, parenting and mental health. Bill’s sermons reflect a depth of wisdom drawn from his experiences as a licensed counselor, specializing in PTSD, anxiety and depression.
