In my ongoing trial with the Attorney General’s Office of Kansas, I had to be ready to answer over 100 questions related to why I was pushed out of my tenured professor position for keeping the Feast of Tabernacles. The first question: Why do you keep the holy days? If you lose your job for worshipping here, how would you answer this question to a jury of your peers?

Dusti Howell is a board member of the Bible Sabbath Association (BSA). After graduating from Ambassador College, he earned two PhDs in Education and just retired after being a professor in higher education for 25 years. Deanne Howell also graduated from Ambassador College and earned a graduate degree in Education and was a teacher of teachers for over two decades. They have three kids and served sabbaticals in Thailand and Costa Rica teaching Bible, study skills, and technology classes. Both are currently developing, teaching and promoting Common Faith Academy’s online courses and outreach.
