History of the Quality Church Efforts:
“What does the concept of Quality Church Initiative entail?”
There is something that binds us together that is not political, it isn’t financial—in fact, it is nothing that can be seen with the eye. It is the Spirit of God, the power that made life.
Common Faith Network acknowledges this reality. We also freely recognize that we are humans that communicate primarily with each other through physical means, and not strictly by our common Spirit from God.
Our striving to help each other improve the Quality of our Church and Worship Experiences has been the focus of many different efforts in recent years.
We started with simple Quality Church Service seminars at our various of our affiliate events, where input was sought and ideas exchanged to help attendees pursue the goal of improving their worship. Some of these were at Winter Family Weekend events, and others were held at Feast of Tabernacles Celebrations.
Simple seminar sessions were not adequate to delve into range of ideas brought forth.
For the past several years, CFN has sponsored a weekend long Quality Church Retreat in the spring of the year held at the Wafloy Lodge outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It was an excellent facility to promote more in-depth interactions. But, it was limited in space and we frequently could not accept all those interested in participating.
We have decided this year to capitalize on the opportunity of the Winter Family Weekend, and offer 2 days of seminars in a special interest tract dedicated to these efforts, and are calling it the Quality Church Initiative.
Bring your ideas and needs and discuss them with other believers on Sunday and Monday morning during the Winter Family Weekend this year.
