But God has a plan for how we can defeat fear now and one that gives hope for all people to finally rid this great thief from their lives.

Kurt Hoyer works for the U.S. Department of State. He has served as a diplomat in Mexico, Kenya, Cyprus, Israel, Afghanistan, and The Philippines. He is currently assigned to Washington D.C. Kurt has a BA degree from Ambassador College and an MBA from
Azuza Pacific University. He and Jennifer have three children and live in Fairfax Virginia.

Paul told the Corinthians that he and those with him did not have dominion over their faith, but instead they were “helpers of your joy” (II Corinthians 1:24 KJV). What did he mean by that? What is the responsibility of church leadership, and how does that give us a glimpse of the character of God and the qualities God wants us to
develop for the furtherance of his kingdom?

Lenny Cacchio is the author of two books, Morning Coffee Companion and The Gospel According to Moses: The Feast Days of Leviticus 23. Lenny is a Certified Financial Planner and chartered Financial Consultant. He is a 1976 graduate of Ambassador College, Big Sandy. Two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time. That phrase has been adopted from a quantum physics principle. Our God has a similar, spiritual principle. Godliness and godlessness cannot occupy our spiritual lives at the same time. We will look at the story of the Philistines placing the ark of God next to their idol Dagon. God teaches the Philistines, the children of Israel and us a very valuable lesson: When you place the light
of God next to the forces of darkness, the light of God always wins!
